Requirements Management

codeBeamer’s RM (Requirements Management) module enables defining and elaborating requirements, as well as managing them through the development and testing phases. It provides tight integration with Microsoft Office and advanced collaboration capabilities around requirements. The RM module can be used either as a standalone system, or as a part of codeBeamer ALM.

QA-Test

QA-Test Management

codeBeamer’s QA-Test (Quality Assurance & Test Management) module helps the user to define Test Cases, to compose Test Sets, and to execute tests on multiple hardware and software configurations. It gives full traceability by associating tests with requirements and releases. It enables test result data mining withcoverage analysis and customizable dashboards.

Development

Development & Project Management – SCCM

codeBeamer’s SCCM (Software Change & Configuration Management) module extends Git, Mercurial and Subversion with Configuration, Change and Defect Management capabilities. It helps software development teams using Git, SVN or Mercurial by providing additional integration workflows, security and collaboration extensions.

Its mission is to reach uncompromised quality and efficiency in software development. Development Management has exceptional strength in Git integration.

codeBeamer supports agile software development by providing specific Kanban board, and Agile Planning board layers.

Demand

Demand Management

codeBeamer’s newest addition is the Demand Management module. Demand Management allows companies to manage the entire Demand Lifecycle, starting with capturing ideas and demandsranking (voting and prioritizing them), and managing the approval process for each demand.

The Demand Management module is integrated into the codeBeamer ALM tool. This enables effective Demand to Requirements process management, from development through IT operations. Agile planning methods (Kanban board) and customizable workflows support the efficient planning and execution of demands.

DevOps

IT Operations (DevOps)

While Development departments are driven by user needs for frequent delivery of new features, Operations departments focus more on availability, stability of IT services, and IT cost efficiency. These two contradicting goals create a “gap” between Development and IT Operations, which slows down IT’s delivery of business value.

Development and Operations collaboration (DevOps) was built to fix this situation. The DevOps module resolves the conflict with existing frameworks like CMMI, ITIL and Scrum.
