Executive Team Profiles
Georg M. Haensel - President
Georg is president and elected to the Intland board of directors. Georg was previously the CEO of IBM Business Solutions in Germany, responsible for growing it to €900M in revenue. Georg brings a wealth of experience and possesses a unique set of skills including software development, sales, marketing, and finance. Prior IBM, Georg was the CEO of Taylorix, an 1500 people software company and led its acquisition by Porsche in 1994. He received his M. S. in Electric Engineering from the Technical University of Stuttgart and in Information Science and Economics from the University of Saarbrucken.
Janos Koppany - CEO (Co-founder)
Since founding Intland in 1999 jointly with his brother Zsolt, Janos has piloted the transformation of the company from a source code analysis tool provider to one of the most innovative collaborative software solution companies. With more that two decades of experience in R&D, product management, services, sales management, and overall executive management in the software industry, Janos' cross-functional business approach has been instrumental in building a market-driven company. Within his role as CEO, Janos is responsible for strategy, marketing and sales.
Prior to starting Intland, Janos founded and developed Multix Software GmbH until the company's highly successful divestment to Cygnus Solutions (subsequently acquired by Red Hat) where he became Director of Marketing and Sales, Germany. Before Multix Software he was a researcher at Hungary's Central Physical Research Institute and worked as an engineer at various leading German companies including Nixdorf. He received his M.S. in Electric Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest.
Zsolt Koppany - CTO (Co-founder)
Since co-founding Intland in 1999, Zsolt has lead as Executive VP Engineering and R&D in creating one of the most comprehensive and innovative collaborative software solutions on the market. Zsolt is responsible for global software engineering and professional consulting services.
Zsolt has over 20 years of experience in architecting and delivering world class software solutions in rapidly changing environments.
He was also co-founder of Multix Software GmbH. As CTO of Multix, the best selling high value product Source Navigator with over 20,000 licenses sold worldwide. Prior to Intland and Multix, he worked in various engineering positions at recognized European IT companies. He received his M.S. in Electric Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest.
