We silently updated the codeBeamer Eclipse Plugin to comply with codeBeamer server version 5.4. At the same time, we launched an Eclipse plugin update site for you to make it easy to install it, or to upgrade existing installations. The plugin makes certain codeBeamer features, such as issue trackers, available directly in your favourite IDE (and ours).
The update site is available at: http://www.intland.com/eclipse-plugin/site.xml, and there are separate plugin versions available for codeBeamer 5.3.0, 5.3.1 and 5.4.0. (As you can see, plugin version numbers are identical with the compatible server versions.) The plugin is compatible with Eclipse 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5, and with the equivalent versions of IBM’s WebSphere Studio Application Developer.
Here is how to install it. (If you are already familiar with using update sites in Eclipse, you can safely skip this.)
- In Eclipse, go to Help menu, then click Software Updates…
- Click Add Site… and enter http://www.intland.com/eclipse-plugin/site.xml
- Choose the plugin version that matches your codeBeamer server version
- Click Install…
- Have fun.
